Default desperate paypal flop :(

My site has just went live and I got my first "paypal" payment for what I don't know. It seems that Paypal does not show the item my customer purchased, only a dollar amount. There is no record of the transaction in the admin area. Here I am looking like a complete idiot to my first customer, asking them what did you just buy from me??? What gives here. How the HECK to fix this?
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!

If you are using the orginal paypal module that comes with osCommerce, it is not a flop. The customer just did not complete the order by clicking the return link at paypal.

This is a known issue with the original paypal module, as it is too dependent on the customer actually doing what they are supposed to, ie clicking the return link from paypal to your site.

I suggest upgrading the module to something more current to avoid this in the future.

I suggest using the OSCommerce Paypal IPN contribution. It ensure that a Paypal notification is sent to your website as soon as Paypal accept the payment, whether the customer returns to your website after making payment
