Default Option Type feature/contribution - bug - help!!

Hi guys,

I recently grabbed this feature as I want users to be able to type their name (or other personal message) into a text field as well as select stuff like colors from the dropdown boxes for some of my products.

I carefully merged the files, uploaded the SQL have check and rechecked everything but am getting this error whenever I try and add a new product attribute to a product in the admin tool:

1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

insert into products_attributes values ('', '43', '7', '55', '0', '+')

[TEP STOP]

If I revert the files back (I made backups thank god!) it goes back to working fine. Has anyone seen this before or does anyone know what the problem is??

many thanks as always

Jason

sorry guys - forgot to mentilon that I installed the Attribute Sort contribution (so I could have control over the order that attributes appear in the select boxes). This added an extra field to the admin tool (the product attributes table which is when I get the error) - I think that's causing the problem.

Is it possible to get these two working together or is it a choice between one or the other??

cheers

J
