    Default Aaargh whats going on here!!! - please help!

    Hi all

    I am totally stumped at this one.

    I've finished off the site www.greatlittlegiftco.com (the products are just being uploaded with their photos etc and then I am going to resize the thumbnail images).

    It all works fine in test mode (ie going in via my server IP address), but when I test it using the actual web address now its forwarding onto the hosting server the home page screws up!

    I cannot see why on earth it would do this and its totally stumped me.

    Anyone help at all please???
    Thanks all,
    Sadie

    edited to add: fixed this problem but now got a new one - please see further down!!!!

    OK I've figured out so far that when you type in the url:

    www.greatlittlegiftco.com

    the source code produced makes the tag:

    <!-- body_text //-->

    disappear and only the start of the comment tag appear when viewing the source.

    If you then open up any other page (including the index page!) again then it shows up properly.

    Any thoughts / ideas / fixes?

    Also - how do I get it to show the url each time (I am using DNS forwarding onto the server IP address which hosts several sites) - do I need to do something in the config file?

    lol - ok answering my own posts here.

    I fixed the problem with it showing the IP address (editing the configure file) and in doing so its stopped it from messing up the comments tag for some reason.

    Now I still have no idea why it did it but at least its fixed!!!

    New problem:

    Thanks for reading this far!

    OK I 'fixed' the problem above, but still getting errors just in a different place now and a slightly different way.

    If you add a product into the cart now the text all crams up to one side along side the left column in the index page, about us etc etc. The product pages and cart pages are fine though.

    I can see why in the code:

    instead of:
    </tr>
    </table>
    </td>
    </tr>

    <!<!-- left_navigation_eof //-->
    </table></td>

    <!-- body_text //-->
    I am getting:
    </tr>
    </ </td>
    </tr>
    <!-- search_eof //-->
    <!-- left_navigation_eof //-->
    </table></td>

    <!-- body_text //-->
    But its happening for no apparant reason! The source code all looks fine. Anyone got any bright ideas?

    The cart is at www.greatlittlegiftco.com

    Many thanks
