 What are limitations/guidelines for modifying store?
Hello,
I want to know where to find information on what limitations I have on modifying my store. I know there is some document out there that tells me what modifications are not allowed, but I forget what it is called and where to find it.
If someone can tell me whether or not I'm allowed to make this modification that would be great.
What I want to do is create a registry/wish list within my osCommerce store. I'm hiring a programmer for this since it's beyond my area of expertise.
There would be a link from the store labeled "registry."
From here, registered visitors would be able to select products from my store to put on a registry, like a wedding or baby shower registry.
In addition, I want registered visitors with a registry to be able to assign a separate password to distribute to friends to access the registry and purchase products online.
I also want another feature: I want registered visitors with a registry to be able to submit dates of certain holidays/occasions for this registry, and submit email addresses of friends/family. An email reminder would be sent to friends/family on this email list, about a month before the holiday dates indicated in the registry. This email would inform friends/family of the registry's existence and provide links or instructions on how to access the registry and buy products online.
Am I allowed to do this to my store? Please let me know. Thanks. |
