Default Am I right about the front page products?

Am I right saying that I change the center product images on the front page of the site by changing the images in the image folder. I see 2 sizes of each product in the image folder, so I assume that's how it's working and not being called from the database. If so..is it safe to assume that I'll do the same if I want to add an image to the center top area above where it says...:What's New Here? Thanks in advance. I looked around for the answer by search first and got 0 responses so I posted.

No, this is not the way you do it.

You can add products through the admin section. It will ask for an image in the product entry page, you browse your local hard disk for it, and it will upload to the product.

If you look on your main page, the new product will show up.

I am not exactly sure if this is what you are looking for. Can you clarify?

Default New Products added

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. I'm actually starting to feel the "fog" lift a bit. It's a great cart and I lok forward to being a contributor rather than a "taker." I'll get to the admin. section...and see if I can add into the "new products area specifically.

Default I meant the thanks.. :-)

I actually meant it when I said thanks. Iappreciate all the help people give here. I'm sorry when I said thank you it was misinterpreted as thank you.

Waza04,

Don't get too worked up over this. We are all pretty easygoing here. I didn't take elijahweb's comments as negative, and even if I did, I am too busy to care.

Most negative comments are born out of frustration with the complexity of osCommerce and are not usually directed at me. I have been there, and I truly understand how daunting this can be for beginners. After all, there was I time when I knew absolutely nothing about osCommerce, and there were NO docs at all....
