URGENT - PLEASE HELP - PWA Problem

My customers are getting the following if they already have an account and try to go directly to checkout.

The requested URL /login.php/login/fail/reason/An+account+already+exists+for+the+email+address+&l t;i>donna@ukgoods.com</i>.++You+must+login+here+with+the+password+for+tha t+account+before+proceeding+to+checkout. was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have reinstalled from scratch PWA 8.0 on a brandnew version of OsCommerce and still get this error.

Can someone please point me in the right direction. I do not want it to check their email address at all. I tried update login.php to bypass the email address check and it keeps checking it and coming up with the same error.

This is a live store and this issue is costing me business.

If I understand you correctly the bottom line is if they have already registered then they need to log in. OSC tracks customers by their email and will not allow duplicate email address.

I don't know of any ways around that. You can dissable the feature "allow checkout without account" in the admin section.
