Remove subcategory listings in Category box

I have search both this forum as well as oscommerce's and while I have seen the question asked many times I have yet to find an answer.

I would like to the Categories Box to simply list the top level categories, not the subcategories. How do I turn off the subcategories?

We are running MS2 MAX 1.5.
