delivery time in replace of the shippment

Hi..

I like to replace the shippment and payment to delivery date and time slot..

Example: Today is the 10/7/04..
My website would have the 11/7/04 and 12/7/04...both date for them to choose for the delivery...And some time slot of them to choose...

Is local delivery...so i dun need the shipping and credit card payment...

Anyone interested to take up this challenge ?
Or could u direct me where is the files that i can alter to wat i want...

So how is the cleint going to pay? COD? On account?

As for shipping - it could be set for $0.00 or whatever... Possably mod'ing the UPS freight option (AIR EXPRESS, Air Expidited, ground, econ etc...) into your time slots... Next Business day-AM, Next Business day-PM, 2nd Day AM, 2nd Day PM etc....

Then install a COD payment module and remove all others.

For freight maybe mod the UPS or USPS shipping module more into a standalone version (like flat.php or zones.php or freeshipper.php) Both of UPS and USPS shipping modules allows one to select from a bunch of diffent options...

How are you charging freight? Included or flat fee or based on item# or wieght etc...? Any COD fees?

i have install the COD and uninstall all the others....but it still prompt me the shipping detail...
and i like to modified it so that it prompt the delivery date and time slot aviable for them to choose..

any suggestion...

Hey Jpf...when i click on checkout...the price for the item is actually $42...but why the total amount show "$45" instead ?

Shipping details are still needed.... You have to MOD the COD - and add in parts simular to the UPS/USPS for your "days"....the other option is to CLONE the COD module and rename them (and the variable in them) to match your days.... ie: instead of "COD" use NEXT_DAY, and the clone TWO_DAYS etc...

Then it would allow to select from "all" shipping methods available (all clones of COD - but renamed to each "day/time" slot you want)

COD Fee is ZERO? Maybe you have it as $3?
