Everytime I open and close any of my files, they become erased! What is happening, does anyone have any idea? Do I have some kind of virus?

This is related to oscommerce, and I have a back up of all my files now on my hard drive. However, this really does me no good, because everytime I touch any file it erases, so I cant get anywhere. Have you heard of anything like this happening?

One thing that I know - it not OSC that deletes the file and not the problem

V-I-R-U-S - Maybe...

Editor - Not likely - But make sure you are using a good "text" editor (not M$ crap).

Permissions - Could be - You could have read/erase but not write permissions???

Not sure of your problem - HOW are you editing the files and with which editor? What OS are you using/running? Host type (Win/Linux)? Which FTP program are you using to upload you edited files?

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, I didnt realize in my cpanel, the packages for each domain had a huge bandwidth. I was over my quota, so somehow, because of this my files began to erase, because I have changed the settings, now all is well. It only took me a week to figure that out... Well now we know what can happen if you use more than your share of bandwidth!
Thanks for all your help and quick responses!

I just realized that contact.php code that was sent to me that had been erased, does not work for me, I get these errors:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/baby/public_html/osCommerce/contact_us.php:3) in /home/baby/public_html/osCommerce/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/baby/public_html/osCommerce/contact_us.php:3) in /home/baby/public_html/osCommerce/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67
1146 - Table 'baby_osc1.TABLE_PAGES' doesn't exist

select pages_id, pages_title, pages_html_text, status from TABLE_PAGES where pages_title = 'Contact Us'

[TEP STOP]
---------------------------------------------------------------------

What does this mean? I dont understand it. Is there some parts of other files I have to copy in there since I already adjusted other files?
Anybody know?
Why cant it send a session cookie?
