Default Date format

I wonder if anyone can help me out here. My osc2.2 is going to be for UK customers and over here we use a different date format to the one used in osc. We use day/month/year whereas osc uses moth/day/year. I know it's only a little thing but I've got most of my store perfect and I'd like the date format to be too!
I went into languages/english.php and altered the defined date_format to d/m/y and I then when into includes/general.js and altered how the date formats are checked but I still recieve an error when I sign up for an account using the uk date format. Can any one help me out please?

I believe the answer is in catalog/includes/functions/general.php
somewhere in lines 876 to 900.

I have n`t test yet.

Give it a try

Default Change date format .....

There is more to changing the date format then just to edit the date format strings, you must change then "tep_date_raw" function etc, please take a look at the link below.
