I am getting this parse error:

Parse error: parse error in /home/baby/public_html/osCommerce/includes/languages/english.php on line 79

All I did was try to change the title of my page in this file, and this pops up on my page. I downloaded this file earlier just in case i messed this one up, so when i retyped what was exactly in this file earlier, the error never budged.

Someone please help me- am i editing the wrong file? And if so, why wont this file get rid of the error even though its in its original condition?

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just re-uploaded the file and the parse error went away. Thank goodness i downloaded it!

I have a similar problem. Everything was going fine until i tried to edit the english.php page. I tried to change the title and then i was unable to see my catalog page in the browser. After changing the english.php file back to how it was the pages were displayed correctly again. However, when i edited the english.php page via the admin site, i was unable to view neither my catalog or the admin site now.. i changed the english.php file back to how it was originally but i am still unable to view my main catalog site or even the admin site now. its doesnt even tell me if an error has occured.. PHP is parsing correctly as i tried phpinfo and works.. any suggestions? thanks.
