    Struggling with MS2 & EasyPopulate

Have uploaded all images to assigned directories and have uploaded content using EP with image names associated to each product.

    1. Images won't pick up so I have been editing each product and re-assigning the image location and updating. Images then show until..

    2. Images stop showing from one login or day to the next. They showed yesterday, in admin and live, today the images are lost/broken links. It's as if I never assigned and/or uploaded the image in the first place (manually or hoping EP would pick them up.)

Any ideas? Is there some sort of conflict in where my images end up residing? (The directory they reside in is where EP knows to look for them.) Is there a SINGLE place/directory the entire site's thumbs and full size images have to be placed?

    Thanks for any help!

Product Images default directory is catalog/images.
If I typed myimage.gif in field B of EasyPopulate - EP would look for that image in catalog/images.
You can have sub directories in catalog/images.
If I typed adir/myimage.gif in field B of EasyPopulate - EP would look for that image in catalog/images/adir
    Best to use jpg's, gif's, png's & stay away from bmp's & art images.
If the file size of your images is too big the server may have a hard time loading them.
I keep the images for my clients between 5 & 10 kb.

Default Thanks - that was it

I'm taking over for our site master and have NO EXPERIENCE with osCommerce... SO -

Thank you so much - I was simply missing the directory path in the image name in the upload to EP...

Great - & do make sure your images are not too large.
Osc will display them at a thumbnail size but (as a default) will not reduce the file size.
