In the attributes section you would setup an attribute called size or whatever on the top left.

Then in the right top section you would setup different sizes as sm, med, large.

Then you would select your product at the bottom and follow along the boxes to the right to select size. You need to make the first size the default size that will show up in the catalog.

Select the same product again and set the next size up and set the price to price+ like 10.00+ which will increase the price over the first base price you set above. The base or default price is always the bottom or top price and then you increase or decrease the price according to how you have it setup.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Yes, when you add a product you have to list the price otherwise it will be zero. This is the default value.

When you setup the attributes for the product you just would not put a price in the +or- box. When you save it you will see that it will say zero in the attributes box...that is correct.

Now, because you have already put the price on the product it will be the default.

My suggestion would be to open 2 browsers, one for admin and one for the store. Setup a product with a price. Look at it the store browser.

Go back to admin, setup one attribute and look at it in the browser. This way you learn how the attributes work. You can always change or delete if you don't want something.

Thanks for being so prompt. Looks like I did figure out how this works. Could you , however, tell me :
1. What "U" stands for under the "prefix"
2. Is it possible to get rid of the extra line when the price shows up for a product with " other than default" attribute. What I noticed was when that I put the product with " other than default" attribute in the cart. first the price of default price showed up and under that a small line showed with + or - 3. is there any way of getting rid of this?

U? I don't have a U in my attributes section.

Would need more exact location.

As far as I know that line stays there.
