thumbnail enlarged picture

I hava a shopping cart built and have thumbnails - when I click to enlarge - the picture is huge - how do i decrease the size of the enlarged picture?

open your "large" image in your photo editor of choice. For brevity i'll use photoshop as an example.

1.start photoshop.
2.click "file"
3. click "open"
4. browse to the "large" image in question and open it.
5. click "image"
6. click "image size"
7. make sure keep proportions is checked in the resulting window or your image will look like garbage.
8. change either the width or the height, the other will change automatically for you if you followed step 7 above.
9. click "ok"
10. click "file"
11. click "save"
12. upload the new image via ftp to your server, overwriting the old one.

thanks - i thouth that it was something that could be controlled in the shopping cart. i do know how to resize thru paint shop - thanks for the info!!!!
