Advice For Groupon

Hello,
I am curious about how I can implement a Groupon offer. I am currently researching Groupon and how it can help my business. Does anyone use Groupon with their store if so how do you go about it. Any advice would be handy! Thank you!

I am afraid I am not familiar with Groupon! I can not even find any code that you can implement on their site.

You are going to be more specific ... Have you signed up with them? What are you stuck on?

Since I could not find any information on Groupon's website either, I found a similar thread for Zen Cart. I hope this makes sense. I have no idea how to implement this. I can't be the only oscommerce store that has done this, right? It is fairly new but Groupon is a big hit.

Are you using osCommerce or osCmax? (You have posted in the osCommerce forum.)

If you are using osCmax - then I think you should be able to set up a coupon code to give them 40% or whatever off the value of the order ... set it to unlimited use for the date you want to use it for and then let Groupon know about it.

You can restrict it to a category or specific product and set the number of times a single customer can use the code.

It should be that easy ... (I think!)

I use oscommerce. I currently do not have a coupon module set up. Any suggestions? How can I get the module to accept multiple redemption codes? Thanks for helping me with this! I really appreciate it!

I understand now. I just spoke with a rep from Groupon and basically they give you a list of redemption codes that you would enter in one at a time into the coupon module. Once the coupons are bought from Groupon, the customer would come to your store and enter in their unique redemption code and viola the customer gets their discount. I made it seem like it was a lot harder than this. Its a little time consuming to enter in all of the redemption codes but it makes it a lot easier than adjusting code within the store. I hope this helps people out too. Thanks!
