Product detail in product listing

Hi,

I am creating a small shop for a custom goods manufacturer. No category will have more than 20 products, so we want to list all products including image, description, options, quantity & buynow button directly on the category page (single column, one prod below the next), without requiring the user to click through to the product details page to get this information. Is this possible?

All I need are words of encouragement that I can make this happen in OSC! I can hack the php as long as I know I am not trying to move a mountain. Any comments are appreciated.

anything is possible, if you understand php the information is available, you just have to code it that way. your not moving a mountain.
