Quantum Gateway not saving order details after checkout

I installed the Quantum Gateway payment module on my oscmax shopping cart. This was the payment gateway referred to me by my merchant account provider (CDGcommerce). Everything seems to be working fine with the payment gateway, until the last checkout screen (after credit card info has been inputted). When the customer clicks checkout on the payment page, they are not redirected to the success screen and no order details are saved in oscmax. The screen just loops back to the first "delivery information" page.

The worst part about it is that the credit card payment gets processed, but I am unaware of what was purchased. It causes alot of customer confusion and seems very unprofessional to have to contact my customers and ask them what they ordered. I contacted CDGCommerce/Quantum Gateway about this problem and they said it was something in my oscmax settings or server environment. I have spent days trying to fix it with no luck. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1. You've posted in osC not 'Max section.
2. Which version are you running?
3. Server environment details.
4. Turn on error reporting (do a search on these forums).
5. Use an alternative payment module for your customers until resolved.
6. Make a development environment to test things before going live.

I did have a quick search on the forum - was 2008 the latest version of Quantum?
That's quite some time ago and may not be compatible with the latest standards.
