Default How to change the way products are displayed (list)

Hello,

As I have quite a lot of products in my catalog, I wish to display the products of one category in a long list instead of a 4 rows x 3 cols table. (with really small image or no image at all in the listing instead of the actual thumbnail images).

I didn't find anything in the admin to change this so if someone can help me to achieve the desired layout, I'd be really gratefull.

I'm using MS2-MAX...

Thank you very much !

I didn't see you replied because I didn't get an e-mail so sorry for the delay.

I wish to do it for all rows. I saw OSCommerce based shops that have products displayed on one row like for example:
http://pczone.ch/index.php?cPath=10_103 (but I don't need stock and if I put pictures on the left side of the row, I would like them to be very small)

Thanks for your help,

What is SEC release ? I don't know it...

So how to achieve the same behaviour with MS2 ? Do I have to modifiy or add a configuration key in the database by hand or do I have to change the code ? If yes, what modifications do I have to make ?

Thanks a lot for your help !

Ok I found a way:

in filenames.php replace define('FILENAME_PRODUCT_LISTING_COL', 'product_listing_col.php'); by define('FILENAME_PRODUCT_LISTING_COL', 'product_listing.php');

I have just implemented your suggestion to have the products listed in a column.

I am wondering if there is a way to call in the products attributes into this listing.

I have a site where customers can put names on products and would like for this to
show up in the product column also. and then skip the individual product info page if
an attribute is already selected.

The way it is now the customer has to go to each products individual page to see the
options they have for it. I would like them to be able to go down the list and customize
each product without clicking to the individual product pages.

my site is www.fridgemags.com

thanx in advance for any info on doing this.
