Import into MYSQL - Help

Hello! I am trying to install the minimum order contribution. Unfortunatly, i'm stuck at step #1.

"Import the file.sql file into mysql using either PHPMyAdmin or the command line."

How do I do this?

I'm currently using FileZilla, however I cannot for the life of me find a "mysql" folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi SarahR,

FileZilla is a FTP program - File Transfer Protocol - which means it is used for transfering the files from your local pc/mac to the server.

In order to edit your database using SQL you need to login to your web providers website and access your account. Within the control panel you should find phpMyAdmin ... or similar.

Please make sure you have backed up everything before you start as you will be making changes directly to your database.

Do a quick google of phpMyAdmin to find a user guide or watch these flash tutorials to get you through the basics.
