Product Price showing as 0 (Zero)

Hi there, today I went and added the products prices to my new OSCmax store. However, all of the product prices on the front end of the store are 0.

I have re-added the USD currency and set the default language currency to true to no effect.

I turned on the currencies sidebox and re-selected my currency as GBP, but when I log out and close my browser - and then return to the store - the prices are shown as 0 again.

Could anybody offer any further assistance ...

it sounds to me like i permistions problem on the database go to you phpmyadmin or whatever you have installed on the server and look under products if all of the prices are set to 0 then for some reason

A.) you dont have write permition at all (unlikley if its allowing you to add products)

B.) The Sql querry is messed up and not including the price when you are uploading a new product

My sugestion is to remove the configuration.php file found in the admin folder and reupload everything else to the database. before you do that howeve have you installed any modificatiions that you had to upload or edit anyfiles in the admin folder.

(as a temp fix you could use the Easy Populate system to look at the products you already have and change the prices you can add products using this method ass well )

I have literally just got around this via doing a fresh install and then a re-import of products and it now works swimmingly!

sounds like you had a bad file upload then
