Manual approval of registration

Hi

My customer has decided that they want to manually approve anyone registering on their website.

Ideally, they would like to receive an email when somebody registers, with a link on it to click to approve them. If there was an option to add them to a particular group, that would be great!

Can somebody point me in the direction of any mods or settings that would allow this to happen, please?
