Default I've screwed it up - please help!

I'm pulling my hair out over these things - been staring at it for far too long now and still not worked out what I've stuffed up.

So heres the problem(s). First off - I get a header on the new products box on the home page which simply says 'TABLE_HEADING_NEW_PRODUCTS'
Now I think I tried to remove the heading which may be what screwed it up - but I just followed the instructions in the dox here on how to remove so maybe not...

The second problem being that you cannot see the products in the catagories?? You click on the catagory and it just says 'products' but no listing of what they are like on the other site I wrote when testing.

The link to the place I have the cart set up at present is :
http://217.160.133.238/~admin13/catalog/
and I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can tell me where I screwed up this time!

Thanks all
Sadie

I would Compare your new_products.php file with a CLEAN (unchanged) version.

Also check your \languages\<all_directories>\index.php

Look for a line something like:

define('TABLE_HEADING_NEW_PRODUCTS', 'New Products For %s');

Make sure it is all proper....
(or copy it from a back copy)

Good Luck!

Thanks so much! I wonder why it didn't pick up on that when I was looking earlier - I did a find & replace throughout the entire site looking for the word string but it didn't find it - I had commented it out earlier on whilst I was fiddling around that was all!

aaargh!

Any suggestions on the missing product listings? I cannot for the life of me figure out what I've done there.

Thanks for your help.
Sadie
