multiple product image sizes

Hello,

i've been looking around for a few days now, but i can't seem to find anything to help me...

For the nature of the clothing store i'm setting up, i need to have 3 different product images size templates. I have belts which are thin and wide, so they can not use the same image size template for say tshirts which would be square. in the admin section, the 'image size' section seems to only allow for the height and width dimensions of 1 product image template. is there an easy way to mod the program to allow for more image dimensions for the 'tshirt' category, vs. the 'belt' category?

I think I should be more specific:

In the admin section of the site, and then images, there is

small image width
and
small image height

I need to have

tshirt image width
and
tshirt image height

in addition to

small image width
and
small image height.

but I want 'tshirt' and 'small' to behave exactly the same except for their displayed size will be different. I hope this makes what I'm saying clearer. English is not my first language
