No Payment Method

I want to allow users to place an order for any item in my store and have the system NOT ask for any payment or shipping method at all. Instead, I want it to display a note from me stating that I will be calling them for customization of the item and to get shipping and payment info at that time.

The reason for this is that we are selling off old stock. Sometimes it is "As Is" and sometimes the customer will ask for customizations. This means that the price in the store is a "base price" and might change after the order is complete.

How do I do this?
Can it be done?

But I am listing a price. I want them to go through the whole "place an order" process and when it is done, give them a "Thank You" message. But no shipping info or payment info would have been asked for.

Hence the "free" part - it skip though payment option.... if vitual (no wieght) - then no Shipping options.

You can set it up to display a price - but payment is skiped..... Just change the "Free" "text" to something else - like "Manual payment" or "pay on pickup" etc....
