Change Langauge

Hello my name is Diyar Samin and i recently installed osCmax and downloaded the swedish language pack put everytihng in the right directories my question is now how do i use the language do i have to change anything else or is that all you have to do?

Fist of all - after you uploaded all new files - did you activate/install it in the ADMIN?

Second - did you duplicate and translate all files in the /includes/language/*english*.php and /includes/language/english/*.* to swedish? (or from German or Spanish)

This is more involved than just installing a language pack from osCommerce. Max has 75% more language files (actually 222 more) and has TWICE the data. Many of the STOCK files even have added lines.

Solution: You have to use a "file compare" tool to look at each existing file and to copy over and edit any missing "lines" and files and translate them.

Final step: ZIP up all you language files and add a project on this site to share this with other people in the Sweden community.
