Hi, I have tried getting an answer or something from the main OSC forum to no avail.
Sorry if I posted to the wrong forum. Just coun't figure out which was best to post this quesstion.
I have a major problem that is making me think of scrapping OSC altogether. You see, for about 10% of all orders placed on my site (regarless of payment method used) I do not get an email confirmation from my site, the order does not show within my admin, and it also does not show within my customer's order history when they log into their account.
The only reason why I know I got an order is because I get confirmation from my payment processor that an order was placed nad card was charged. Also, if the payment method was check.money order, I do not know about the order until I receive the paymant in the mail.
In either case, you can see how this is frustrating as I never hve any idea exactly what is ordered. I always have to contact the customer to get the exact order, which is a big hassel and looks bad on my part.
So, has anybody had this problem? Does anyone know of a solution or at leat a cause. I cannot find one.
And just so you know, all of the customers that this has happened to, they all say that they had no problems with the checkout process and everything seemed to flow smoothly.
Any insight into this problem would be appreciated. If I cannot find a solution, I really need to consider finding a different shopping cart program even if I have to pay thousands for it.
I am really going to hate to leave OSC as I love it accept this one problem is enough for me to say goodbye if I cannot fix it.
