Default define mainpage.php error - entire site went down

Yikes.

I tried to update my mainpage text using "define mainpage" from admin menu. I clicked update when I was through and I got error

Define MainPage

TEXT_FILE_DOES_NOT_EXIST

Then I tried to refresh my site and I got:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_image() in /home/dixiemm/public_html/shop/index.php on line 13

There was one other line error but I added:

define('FILENAME_DEFINE_MAINPAGE', 'define_mainpage.php'); // DEFINE MAINPAGE

That I saw in another forum mentioning this problem. That fix did not work. I searched osc main forums and these and I can't find a fix. Does anyone know what I can do to atleast get it back to the default text?

I am using 1.5.5 (latest update) I am pretty well screwed right now.

Thanks in advance!

Just replace it with the original and start over.

I have not ever had a problem with it. Just try again. You can always manually edit that file if you are having problems with the wysiwyg editor...

Thanks msasek - I did just that. Now the thing works... the only thing I can think of AND I am about to test it out is that something in 1.5.5 makes the wysiwyg not work... I started ALL over ~ yuck ~ but I have not upgraded yet. I will upgrade and post here again to see if that issue shows up again.

Thanks.
