Credit Card additional field

Dear friends,
I have installed osCommerce and started to customize it. But I ran into a problem, because I would need to an (apparently minor) modification and I don't know where to start...

How can I add a new "Date of Birth" field inside the Credit Card
payment option (cc.php)? - this is required to process the credit card
data in Italy.

Any help would be gratly appreciated!

i was wondering the same thing, but a different field,
how can I add a Credit Card type field (drop down menu)?
in authorizenet option.
