 Adding Text To A Category Page Hi, I need to add text to a category page. Somebody told me about the Category Description contribution, but it has a limit of 255 characters. I have 1046 characters to be exact. Here is the actual page it needs to be added to: UnusualGoods Beadshop! The text describes our process of custom work and general info about all the products in the category. Thanks very much for the help!!!!! Paul     |

 Re: Adding Text To A Category Page Paul, are you using oscMax? If you are, then you can do what you are looking for in the Admin section, when you create the category. It can be very nice, as well, using HTML.... |

| Re: Adding Text To A Category Page Well - two things can be done.... Install the Categories Description Mod then change the table "categories_description" field "categories_description" in SQL from "varchar(255)" to be "text".... Or better yet - convert over to OSCMAX which already has this plus has a WYSIWYG editor....and many other features.
