Default Odd problem in Admin/ File manager--- lots of "n's"

    Hello-
I was going thru the 'exercises', getting familiar with 2.2 when I cam across a strange problem.
I was editing all of the pages manually to be 750 wide and align="center". After I did this to file_manager.php, it displayed a whole bunch of different-fonted N's. (see pic)

After all the lines of N, the file manager lists the actual files. I'm sure I probably disrupted something... can anybody suggest where to start? Is this a file error or a database error?

    Thanks!

There is NO reason to force the ADMIN width to 750 - OSC dyanmically fits to the size given. I have worked with the ADMIN from 640x512 (way too much scrolling up&down...) and up to 1280x1024. Restore the file from backup.
