| I have followed the installation instructions including the directory index statement mod. I would like to access my catalog directly via the url and not via url/catalog Can I simply move the .htaccess file that is in the catalog dir and stick it in the root of the site? |

| no. move all the files and dirs under the catalog dir to your document root. then change the configure.php files to reflect the new file path...
