| Hi, I've got a MS EXCEL file with 345 items in CVS format. We need to upload this and make them sub categories. Because they're lots of items I would really thank if you guide me how to create all these categories asap. Thank you. Here's a quick view of the MS EXCEL file: 1. DORMITORIO DE 48" 2. DORMITORIO DE 60" 3. A/C /CALEFACCIÓN/VENTILACIÓN 4. ABS/FRENOS 5. SISTEMA DE BOLSA DE AIRE 6. CÁMARA DE AIRE 7. AIRE/ENTRADA ELECTRICA Y LUCES ... Thanks again. |

| products and catagories are tied together in table products_to_categories. It has only two colums, products_id and categories_id. products_id is established in the table products at the time the item is created. categories_id is established in table categories when a category or sub-category is created. I have done what you are asking with files of 4,000 +, but... you have to have the information above to create the Excel file to upload. For only 300 items, it would be easier to just enter them manually. Try installing an add-on for osCommerce ms2.2 called easy populate. Or, install the max version of oscommerce this site offers, as it has easy populate incorporated into it. |
