No Quantity - only instock, out of stock

Hi,

I am RAV ne here. This site is doing great serving the OSC community.
I thought of joining you too. As a user though, I am not a programmer.

I am just starting to learn with OSC, I wish to have a store where I sell products. But my products need not have any relation to quantity.
So is there a mod for OSC to delete the quantity part of it?

I only want instoct and out of stoc, only 2 options. I don't want quantity to be there, we have nothing to do with quantity, if a customer orders something we will get him the item. whatever products we have in catalog we supply them.

Please help me in getting rid of this quantity. sold out etc. plz.

I haven't tried this, but...
can you simply omit the "quantity" field from being displayed?

In the admin section under:
configuration/product listing

Display Product Quantity = 0

edited to add that you can also change the text that displays when a product is out of stock. you do this in configuration/stock
The default is *** you can change it to read *** out of stock or coming soon, or something like that.
