Hi there !
Thank you for reading my post... I need help!

I don't quite understand how osCommerce's modules behave or are compiled.

but this is what I'm trying to do:

My website has four primary categories of products, and multiple subcategories under each primary category.
In the first category (Crystal Lamps), the url reads like this: mysite.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=21
The rest of the categories at the same level of Crystal Lamps, have a different number after "cPath="
Any subcategory under Crystal Lamps or cPath=21 has _## appended to it, for example Livingroom Lamps (a subcategory under crystal lamps) has " _22 " appended to cPath=21, so it looks like this: mysite.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=21_22. Nightstand Lamps looks like: mysite.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=21_71

My question is:
If I want to place a link to a descriptive verbage page that will only be displayed from Crystal Lamps or cPath=21, where can I do this ? In index.php ?

What if I need to have a link to a descriptive or FAQs page to only be displayed from Livingroom Lamps (or cPath=21_22), where can I do this from ?

My guess is I can dump the paths to a variable or variables and depending on which one is active, display the corresponding link. The problem is that I don't know where to do this from because osCommerce references links from "multiple" central locations... or does it ?

I'm sorry for such a long post, but please help ! ! ! !
And thank you so much for taking the time to at least reading.
