Hello All, I would like to change where you are directed to after you get the "Your Order Has Been Processed! screen. Currently when you hit the continue button it takes you to the homepage of the store. I want to redirect this to a page outside OSC. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mac

| It begs to answer - why to a page OUTSIDE OSC?

I have a similar need. Since there was never an explanation for the original poster, let me provide mine. The site provides online subscription sales to another site (both run by the same organization). I have code setup that when it detects someone has purchased an online subscription, it gathers a username/password for the other site on the checkout_success.php page in a form, which sends the information to another page that runs an external script to add their username/password to the other sites access list, then redirects them to the homepage of that site. It works beautifully in Safari on the Mac, OSX -- but in no other browser. Not sure why -- using the tep_redirect function for the actual redirection.

Ditto on the subscription/membership need. I have streaming media content I want to add, made available to all my monthly-paid members (without having to go thru a checkout process everytime). I'll be keeping my ears open on this thread....... And I am desprate for an answer as the project deadline is coming up. I don't want to have to completely rethink my structure as I am totally satisfied with the OscMax package. And the forum at OsCommerce sucks because they changed the search engine and there are a lot of database access errors, so that's no help......

I just set up osscommerce with the ssl enabled and everything works great all the way to the end and when you hit the continue button it redirects to https secure layer and comes up with an http error file not found... I am trying to figure out where to modify the redirect also, so it goes back to the regular http catalog URL... I will try and follow up with this thread when i have the error fixed, also if anyone has a quick fix answer to this issue, that would be cool... later

Well I fixed the problem by simply removing the php echo continue gif in the checkout success php... All other links work fine back to the http catalog... you really don't need that button anyway, as the user remains logged in and can continue shopping just fine... good luck to you all... Later shred
