Default Changing the index.php file

I have used the OsCommerce standard package. Today I uploaded your compile and set it up without issues. However, now I wish to edit the package and I can't get the welcome to aabox to change. I have edited the /catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php to read as follows:

code:
<?php
/*
$Id: index.php,v 1.1 2003/06/11 17:38:00 hpdl Exp $

osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions
http://www.oscommerce.com

Copyright (c) 2003 osCommerce

Released under the GNU General Public License
*/

define('TEXT_MAIN', 'main text is here. put it in later.');

------>end of code

But I still get the welcome to aabox default text. So where are you overwriting the index.php file from?

My site is at http://www.rvv.com/catalog if you wish to see the problem.
I have read all your previous posts and they say only to change that one file. HELP PLEASE. I would like to try this version. I have also attached my amended index.php file.

That is not what you need to change... scroll down the file a liitle...

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Welcome to AABox.com\'s MS2-MAX');

There it is!

To change all the other text, use Define Mainpage in the admin...

Thanks for the reply. I had already changed the 'HEADING_TITLE'. What I want to change now is "all the other text" now to find that editor you spoke of. Wish you could be more specific about where in the administrator it is. I have been drilling in the menus for some time now looking....... where are you hiding at?

I found it. How handy is that tool. Nice feature over the standard osCommerce package. Thanks for the help. A how-to for the damin would be a great download for your product.
