Unhappy Edit Index.php?!? 2 diffrent files?¿?

my sites url says index.php and has the title to edit /english/index.php for the page title. there is no /English/ folder...If i view my root index.php there is nothing about a title in there doing a search for the <title> html code..... I cannot find any index.php file in my theme folders, include or any other folder for that fact..... can someone guide me in the right direction as to finding the proper index file to edit

includes/languages/english/index.php would be the file they are referring to. In oscmax you really want to edit includes/languages/english/mainpage.php and that can be edited in the admin side if you
chmod 777 includes/languages/english/mainpage.php
