Default help with install

I just installed aabox loaded MS2. Everything seems to be working fine except when i try to go into admin. Everything appears as if I am opening "my doucuments" on my hard drive. I password protected it through cpanel. even then, files appear in the same shape. Also, when I click on index.php in admin , I am taken to AAbox log in page.

As you might have guessed, I am very new at this.
Thanks
it is really not-so-simple

So, you are getting a directory listing on your admin dir?

Do you have index.php in your DirectoryIndex statement?

Also, that is not an AABox login page, it is the AABox MS2-MAX login page that you just installed on your server.

Email : admin@localhost.com
pass : admin

ok looks like it is working now. I web protected the admin through a feature in cpanel. So when I try to go to admin, it is asking for user name and password. I enter and I am asked for another log in page asking for Email : admin@localhost.com
pass : admin.

Is this normal. If not, then how do i fix this .? Please help.

You change the password in the oscommerce admin under 'My account'
