Hi all and some Q's

I'm new and about to dig into OSC. I would like to know if the guide dated from 6/2002 is current enough to instruct me on working with the lastest CVS snapshot. If so, I see most of what I need is in there (great job!). Also, what is the advice on all the cvs directories? Can they be deleted? I may do my own mods later but right now I want to learn all about installing and configuring OSC for use as an actual production site.

PS: I am checking out the forums at the OSC site as well but man, they move fast!

Also, if you are not using CVS, you can delete all the cvs dir's
