ERROR_FILE_NOT_WRITEABLE

I continue to get the error "ERROR_FILE_NOT_WRITEABLE" when attempting to modify the Admin\Define_XXXX.php files. I have tried every method of CHMOD but I continue to get the same results. The Administrator group has permissions to all Boxes and Files.

Please assist.

Apparently not every method of chmod...

chmod 777 for includes/languages/english/

mainpage.php
privacy_content.php
shipping_content.php
conditions_content.php

Thanks msasek. I assumed that it was referring to the PHP files in the root of the Admin directory. I tried every method of CHMOD on the ADMIN files. I will give it a try with the correct files.
