Can anyone help I have a site that works fine with force cookies set to false but doesn't work when set to true and I know that sessions are being created as have examined my database where they are stored. Am using a bought implementation of OsCommerce 2.2 with PHP 5, My SQL 5 and apache 2
Have checked the PHP variables for OsCommerce and I still can't get it to work with Force Cookies set to true and I am not using SSL and I'm testing locally --PLEASE HELP--!!!

Register global is OFF? This NORMALLY has to be ON unless you install the mode to turn it off. This "mod"might be causing some of your problem. I have not tested it myself.

My suggestion is to uninstall this mod edit php.ini to turn it on and see if it still happends.

Thanks for you reply --- Your probably right that its the modification thats causing the problem I will check this out. I used this mod because of what I've heard about the dangers of having register_globals ON. Are these dangers real or is it just scaremongering.
