osC on xoops 2.2.2?

Yeah I had posted this at xoops.org, but unfortunately no reply, so here goes....

Ok, this might be a really dumb question...

I've become accustomed to the install/use type of modules that are avaliable for xoops. So when I put xosc in my modules folder and installed it into xoops. I see the admin menu and everything.

But when I click on the osc link, it brings me to the demo page. The weird thing is if you click it again, the whole page goes blank. Clicking login, sign up on that demo page also brings up a blank page. There's probably more to this, but I'm confused as to where to start.

How would I create my own page with the categories of the products that I had added in the admin menu? I keep having a feeling that there's a lot more invovled in setting up osc then just the simple GUI administration menu.

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could step me through the process.
