Default ssl help

Hi,

I am pretty new to the oscommerce application and have a question regarding ssl. I've searched other posts and I am still confused on how to set this up properly. So far, I've installed the 2.2MS1 application as is on my server. Everything seems to work smoothly without ssl enabled. When I enable it, I cannot create a new account. It redirects me from the ssl create_account info page, back to the create_account info page with empty fields and no user account in the database. It seems that the session is droped. I have a shared host for the ssl. Please test this out by trying to create a dummy account. The url for my oscommerce catalog is inspyer.com/catalog. My account also comes with a default (very basic) shopping cart and checkout system but everything seems to work fine for that. Test this one out with a dummy item at https://inspyer.com/ecommerce.smgr?c...34&price=20.00. When at the checkout page you can enter all 4's for the credit card number. I've also tried enabling mysql sessions, this also did not work. Thank you for your help.[/url]

Default ssl help

I'm certainly no expert but I think you need to have a symbolic link setup by your host from your ssl space to your oscommerce install. There are a few other posts about this which have info. (You don't need to install Oscommerce in ssl webspace to make it work BTW)

Good Luck!
