Upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

I installed OSCommerce 2.1 and then began the laborious task of moving my products from Miva Merchant to OSCommerce. After adding about 50 products and customizing the pages, I discovered that I have the problem of items not getting added to the shopping cart.

Now, I've installed version 2.2, or rather I've extracted all the files from the tarball. Can I now just modify application_top.php to use the database I've already created? I really don't want to have to add all those products again.

I'm not very familiar with 2.1, but iirc the structure of the database has changed from 2.1 to 2.2. You'll need to use the upgrade option in the install procedure to move the product info over.
