    Default having problems seeing images on my osCommerce page

    but yea, my subject says it all. i installed oscommerce and it works the right way but the default images like the search button and the shopping buttons aren't working. if anyone knows a solutions to this it would be great. thanks for any help in advance.

    Are the images broken? Check your catalog/includes/configure.php and make sure the images and language directories are set up correctly. The buttons you refer to are located in the catalog/includes/languages/english/images/buttons/ directory - make sure they are there...

    i checked that already but i seem to still run into the same problem.
    for some reason they just don't want to show up.

    It's hare to troubleshoot without seeing anything - can you post a link to your site?

    This is my test site for trying to get oscommerce up and running the right way. it's not much but you have to go in to "products" and click on "Mainboard" to get to catalog. if you want you can IM me at aol, yahoo, or msn SN= xxmike1124. they're all the same. i will be more than happy to give you the pw to the site. site link: www.itptest.siteburg.com

    When I try to directly call the image /catalog/includes/languages/english/images/buttons/button_reviews.gif using this url:

    http://itptest.siteburg.com/catalog/...on_reviews.gif

    it gets a 404 error I think. Looks like the images are not there or you have not allowed direct access to the images...

    Default everything is there

    all the images are there, just not loading up. but i think it's has to do with the htacess or something. i read something on the osc site. still trying to get it to work. if anyone knows how to do this let me know. thanks in advance

    what is the chmod of the directory the images are in?...no access = no pics

    it's set to 777. meaning all access. but i read the oscommerce page on it and it says it has something to with the .htaccess file. but i'm still trying to figure out how to set that up. if anyone knows, any help is much appreciated
