| Hi, 2 years ago I used to work with an older version of TEP, don't know wich one exactly, but it didn't come with the smooth layout (eg. rounded box headers etc.) Now i want to try out the most recent version and it's new look/feel. But I got stuck already when i downloaded and unzipped [oscommerce-2.2ms1.zip]. This file doesn't contain any directory ... huh I read the 'Installation Instructions' on OSCdox and it clearly says "Upload the /catalog and /admin dirs to your server". Well i know how to create and upload dir's but i don't think that's the way it should be done... I can remember the old TEP came with these dir's in the .zip file. I looked around in the FAQ and the fora but couldn't find an answer. So call me stupid, i don't know anymore |

| I would try and download it again. when you unzip there should be the admin, catalog directories. you might have gotten a corrupted zip file.

| a bit busy lately so couldn't reply earlier ... I downloaded the .zip file again from several locations and the same problem occured with every download. I downloaded this files via: http://www.oscommerce.com/downloads/milestones (didn't use 'Authenticity' and stuff like that because i don't know how to use it.) Can somebody please check this out for me and provide a link to a correct OSCommerce 2.2 milestone 1 .zip file ? Thanx! |

| Those are the correct links mmkay. Disable any download managers that you are using. That should help.

| Get the newest version of winzip... I bet that is the problem for ya... That would have been the first thing I checked. For some reason, people never believe that it could be a problem with their computer or software. I am not baggin' on ya, just making an observation. I can't count how many times someone has said, your download is corrupt, there is a problem with your site, without them ever checking to see if they had the right version to read the download... I especially love the netcatpe 4 users complaining that something on this site doesn't work in their browser... I mean Netscape 4 is a relic that should be in the Smithsonian. For the sake of all that is good, upgrade to NS7.1 - Its free dammit!
