ultimate newbie.... need your help !

i have done the installtions and started to add products and do some small work on my site. But when i where to logg on to my site it could not find it. it just said this: Replace this default page with your own index.html i know this may be a very dum question but hey i really aint good at this right now only done it 2 days. tried to read about it in the forum but no luck there.

Try - www.mysite.com/index.php - if your shop comes up OK, then your host will need to set the webserver up to allow .php files as the default page in favour of .html

Or, if that does not work, try - www.mysite.com/catalog - if not, then it still may be the same fix as above.

If neither of these work, then I don't know!!!
