Set Product Codes to run in order

I am wondering how do I get the product codes to run in order and not have the items run in alphabetical order based on their Product names.

Any advise is very welcomed.

The only way that i am aware of is to sort rank them.

If you edit the catagory you'll see a order rank or sort rank..

If you put a 1 in the box it will be first.. if you putt 1000 in the box it would most likly be last...

Maybe some one else is aware of a better way...

I already thought about doing this, though this is a very slow process especially when some of my ranges have 100 products within them.

But so far this looks like the only way it can be done.

Unless someone comes up with a modefication or module for this.
