    Hi everbody,
    got a problem with the installation. who can help me, i´m stickin.

    i ´had no such problems with 2.2 milestone but with 1.7max
    that direction is existing and

    Fatal error: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/german/login.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/datavol/opentheory/') in /home/######/####/gp-shop/catalog/admin/login.php on line 58

    This "other language" issue is covered in these forums. Please use the search facility. From memory the other langs are not supported as yet, but included as a courtesy.
    You could copy the missing files from the English directory, do the translation & post the fix back here.

    since neil didnt actually answer your question....

    The error means your missing file:
    includes/languages/german/login.php make sure its in the directory and has more than a "0 byte" filesize. often in ftp'ing files up they can get mangled.

    Getting that file in the directory will solve your problem.
