    Default Admin Login Missing?

OK... did I miss something? I installed and everything seems to look OK. When I go to the Admin folder, it comes right up... doesn't ask for a password or login or anything. In doing a search, I find a lot of people who need the admin password... my problem seems to be the opposite. I went to the admin folder from three different PCs and it pops right up. No password needed

I loaded the most current version of OSC. I know it should work, as I've seen other working copies on my host.

    Any thoughts?

    Default RE: Admin Login Missing?

Standard oscommerce does not have any sort of login/authentication on the admin. Only osCMax has authentication by default. See the guide on how to add htaccess password protection:

Thanks... can I just say DOH!?

From reading the through the forums, it sounded like all versions were protected by a login page. To be safe, I had already locked the directory via my server control panel anyway. Sounds like that's how it will stay. I appreciate the help!
